Cyriel Dessers says scoring the winning goal for Rangers in Saturday’s (today) old Firm derby would be amazing.
Rangers will look to close the gap between them and leaders Celtic to two points when both teams clash at the Parkhead.
Dessers is gutted no Rangers fans will be in attendance but hopes to give the watching Gers supporters a reason to be cheerful.
“We are looking forward to the game,” he told the club’s official website.
“It would be amazing and a dream to score the winner.
“When you sign here you know the Old Firm and to score in that game is something I dream of.
“I hope tomorrow will be my first goal in an Old Firm game.

“There are no Rangers fans going and it is a pity.
“These are moments you want to share with the fans, but it is what it is.
“As players we can’t change a lot about it, that is for someone else to worry about, but we have to focus on what we have to do.
“I expect it to be an intense afternoon, but I like that.
“We played Betis a few weeks ago and I like these games when everyone is against you and I think the team like it too.
“I am looking forward to it.”
Dessers has scored four goals in his last seven appearances for the Gers.
