Championship: Ajayi Nets Late Winner As West Brom Beat Peterborough Away

Semi Ajayi scored in the 94th minute as West Brom Albion secured a 1-0 win against Peterborough at London Road.

In a match that was more entertaining for the energy and application of both sets of players rather than their quality, clear cut chances were at a premium.

Ajayi made his first start of the campaign following injury to Kyle Bartley.

The Nigeria international snatched the winning goal with the last kick of the game slotting home Matt Philips superb cross.

He was mobbed by his teammates as well manager Valerin Ismael who sprinted down the pitch to celebreate with his players.

Good job, Semi. Continue to show them you deserve to be in the Super Eagles.
