Nigeria defender Semi Ajayi scored for the second consecutive game as West Bromwich Albion maintained their unbeaten run in the Skybet Championship with a 4-2 win against Huddersfield Town at the Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon, Completesports.com reports.
Ajayi scored West Brom’s fourth goal of the game a minute from time, nodding home from a corner kick.
The versatile player who has played every minute of the Baggies’ eight league games so far this season has scored twice for the club.
He scored a late equaliser for Albion in last weekend’s 1-1 away draw against Fulham at the Craven Cottage.
Matt Philips ( brace) and Darnell Furlong were the other scorers for West Brom in the game.
Slaven Bilic’s men now occupy fourth position in the table with 16 points from eight matches.
They travel to Queens Park Rangers in their next game on Saturday.
