Chelsea Ready To Sell Abraham For £40m To Fund Haaland Transfer

Chelsea Ready To Sell Abraham For £40m To Fund Haaland Transfer

Chelsea are reportedly ready to sell Tammy Abraham for £40million as Thomas Tuchel looks to fund a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

According to The Telegraph, Haaland is top of Tuchel’s shopping list this summer.

But the 20-year-old could cost upwards of £100million after netting 53 goals in just 56 games.

And Chelsea need to free up space in their squad, as well as the wage budget, to get a deal over the line.

It’s believed academy star Abraham, 23, will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge for around £40m.

West Ham are known to be keen on the England international, who has 30 goals in 81 games for the Blues.

Abraham has fallen way down the pecking order since Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard in January.

And he is set to be joined out the door by fellow forward Olivier Giroud.

The Frenchman, 34, has also struggled for minutes under Tuchel.

Giroud is out of contract this summer and he will apparently leave on a free transfer, bringing his three-and-a-half years in west London to an end.

Abraham and Giroud’s exits will free up around £200,000-a-week in wages.

That should be enough to convince Haaland his future lies at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea prefer Timo over Abraham and Giroud. Timo is the reason chelsea cant score, Tammy knows his worth. He had a breakout season under Lampard and was put to the bench when Timo came. Kai Havertz and Timo had a big price tage. Time and time again Timo cant score or finish, that’s the reason Lampard was fired. His basic shot was blocked by real madrid goal keeper. So its stupid for people to hate on Tammy just because he had a right to not want to play for Nigeria and they are saying “I told you so” and “Saka is next.” Chelsea will most likely not make it to the final if they cant score. People in their girly feelings because Tammy didnt want to play for Nigeria and Saka. Tomori, he didnt even have Nigeria on mind. He chose between England and Canada. Nigerians and their ego’s.

    • You are right man, everyone should have a right to determine what they want for themselves. No point mocking anyone… There are also other European players that played for other countries still within European other than their country of origin … We can only with you best Tammy. And who says he would have even had a permanent shirt in the Super Eagles, may be the Three Lions is a better place for him, considering the competition in the super eagles

@ Peterhighstar, that is false equivalence. “De bruyne left Chelsea likewise lukaku and they are both doing so well. Tammy got lots of time to shine”

He has lots of time to shine but not in “Three Lions”. Moving from Chelsea to West Ham can not and will not do his chances any good. I can assure you that he will be killing two birds with one stone the moment he signs the contract with West H.
    1. He will not be signed by any of the top four teams in England
    2. He is now in the rearview mirror when it comes to playing for England.

Then, what will you say in the case of jersey lingard of Manchester United but on loan in West ham.Has he not been called back to the three lions?
As far as I’m concerned, what matters is that you able to convince the gaffer that you can do a job for him, you will be included in his team.

He hasn’t been able to convince the coaches at Chelsea that he is good enough for their league and cup games therefore making it impossible for the English national team selectors to even see him as an option. This situation will have a huge effect on his confidence going forward. The question is, can he be able to overcome this?. His confidence has been dealt a big blow and the recovery is going be a long journey.

The moment they deny their origin karma starts to chase dem, this is quite evidential as in the case of tomori, abraham, eze , saka, agbonlaho, etc, they seems to encounter difficulties immediately they deny their fathers right, we are africans and we no the consiquences when we deny our parents call lol, it may sound as joke but very logical to reason,
Since adaribioyo deny nigeria fulham began to crumble and he started failing compare to when he had my support(yes oh very important,) eze under 21 failed to qualify and crystal palace became wors since his arival the club is going down, tomori was loaned out of chelsea and his level went down after denying is fathers, abraham is going down too; saka is doing well but arsenal will end up not qualifying to europe, some how some how they are going down, it happened to lookman but as his name told him to lookback to naija he started getting my support and his carrea is flourishing, our love have been behind aina ebuehi balogun ekong aribo success, even dessers will still comeback its just that its our man that is keeping him in bench and you know our love cant fight our love. It is even better if you didnt get your parents call than you get it and ignore it expecialy for another , the consiquences have never been good. Its like the case of jonah and the wale; he was even thrown out of the ship for the others to survive

You forgot Victor Moses, and Dale Alli. Totally support your points. Folks, don’t reject your Grandfather’s calls. Ighalo fell a victim too. He left when the Grandfather wasn’t ready for him to go. Now, he can not put the gin back into the bottle. Thanks Collins id.

So much hatred. Come on . This is their decision and one should respect it . Didn’t Lukaku and Debruyne leave Chelsea . Did they suffer. Truly it’s not fair on Tammy Abraham at least the national team is thriving without him nevertheless one shouldn’t create a hate vibe on the man ,same also goes to Saka. The game of football requires a player to prove his worth no matter what. Remember what happened to Ihenacho when he was in man City . Inspite the situation , he’s still able to bounce back . So please people . Soft peddle.

For Tomori , he still have a chance to play for the super Eagles though I. E if he’s still interested and if of course the Nigerian football association are also interested in him .

    • Godfrey 3 years ago

His case is quite different from others. After receiving so much insult from the young man,my brother i strongly doubt if he will be allowed to play for us.

    • Oakfield 3 years ago

@olusegun, did u read his tweets the period he got the English call up?? Visit his twitter page and you’ll understand why. Nobody hates him but he is reaping the fruits of his bad attitude. Suffice the proverb ” mind how u treat the people u meet when on your way up bcs u might meet that same set of people on your way down the ladder. That’s Exaclty what has happened to this efurefu(lost child).

    • No one is hating on Abraham.,. after all Alli also rejected Nigeria and now he is going down but nobody is talking about him….Abraham used Nigeria to climb the ladder he flirted with Nigeria even went further to have a photo shoot with nff president to alart England….he played a fast one and now karma has located his address….

@ Olusegun B you made this comparison earlier but you have to understand that you can’t compare apples to oranges

Karma can’t affect the dual nationalities halfcast bcoz they have the right to choose between two by every right but as far that complete black monkey who desire to deny is origin must be punished, meanwhile chukwueze is already teaching saka how to play lefty. Chukwu is indeed the Eze
