Chelsea set a new Premier League record after suffering a 2-1 defeat to defending Premier League champions Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
The Blues took the lead just two minute into the contest through summer signing Morgan Rogers.
Arsenal, however, came back to clinch a third consecutive league win this season thanks to goals from former Chelsea star Kai Havertz and captain Martin Odegaard.
Rogers’ early strike meant Chelsea become the first team in Premier League history to score in the first five minutes of each of their opening three matches.

Also, the Blues took an early lead in the 4-3 triumph over Brighton and Hove Albion, opened the scoring in the fourth minute via Romero Lavia.
Chelsea have not beaten Arsenal in the Premier League since 22 August 2021, a 2-0 win at the Emirates under Thomas Tuchel, with goals from Romelu Lukaku and Reece James.
The Gunners are now unbeaten in their last 10 Premier League meetings with Chelsea and have gone unbeaten in their last 12 matches across all competitions.
