Bournemouth are interested in signing Chelsea starlet Mason Mount, if the Blues loan him out again next season.
The talented midfielder is currently catching the eye while on loan at Championship outfit Derby, who are managed by Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, and the Cherries are said to be keen to snap him up.
Chelsea will be unwilling to sell on a permanent basis as Mount has a chance of making the grade at Stamford Bridge, but another loan deal could be on the cards as he is not quite ready to challenge for the first team.
Derby would no doubt want to keep hold, but Chelsea would prefer him to get regular minutes in the Premier League, and that could put Bournemouth in the box seat to do a deal ahead of next season. Mount is just the kind of player that Cherries boss Eddie Howe wants to get on board and reports are rife suggesting he will be knocking down Chelsea’s door when it comes to deciding where Mount will play his football next.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
