Chukwueze Is An Exceptional Player – Oliseh

Former Nigerian midfielder, Sunday Oliseh has described Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze as an exceptional player.

He made this assertion after his impressive performance in Villarreal’s 1-3 loss to Barcelona in Sunday’s La Liga game.

The Nigerian international netted a brilliant goal few minutes after he was introduced into the game.

Reacting to his performance, the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations winner stated via his official twitter handle that he’s delighted to see Chukwueze score against Barcelona.

“Excited by Naija’s own Samuel Chukwueze’s recovery from injury & this exceptional goal scored against Barcelona. Technical, pacy, and Unpredictable, always love to watch this bunch of Talent perform.”

Kudos goes to Rohr for discovering an exceptional player for the team. #Legacy

I strongly believe you are joking and being sarcastic

      • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

With all due respect to their amunike.. but if not that we have a good coach with great scouting ability, chukwueze raw, unripe and untapped talent would have gone unnoticed immediately after the under 17 world cup in 2015. As we have had so many in the past whose potential just dwindled at an early stage. But when Rohr came on board in 2016 he kept his eyes on this guy and then in 2018 gave him the stage to showcase his talents. Now you have a fully grown and mature chukwueze with room to still grow. See the senior national team is the Apex of every country’s football. So what more of a discoverer can be compared to Mongo Park Rohr????

        • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

You a very biased individual and very economical with the truth. If he never was discovered for U17 , snapped up by Villareal, and moved to the first team he wouldn’t have been given a look in. Amunike gets the credit for discovering them. If u don’t know the meaning of discovery go look in the dictionary.

          • uclaw 2 years ago

Maduka Okoye was also discovered by Amuneke right?
What of the other talents from U17 that stared with Chukwueze, where are they? pls also give Amuneke Kudos for those ones
Pls and pls, no matter how you hate Rohr try to be objective and give kudos when need be.

          • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

Stay on the topic Mr Man we are talking about Chukwueze not Okoye….Don’t try to delude the pic that we’re on to scatter the whole thing. Of course Amunike did not discover Okoye Rohr brought Okoye into the national set up. That’s why credit should be given to who is deserving of the credit. I don’t understand where you are coming from by bringing Okoye into an argument about who discovered Chukwueze.

@Crab claw or whatever your name is….. In football not everyone will make it to the top and that goes for the same 2015 u17 squad that won the worldcup not every player will make it to the senior national team….. Some might not even play football professionally after that tournament so what is your point about others that played with Chukwueze? Chukwueze was one of the top talents in that tournament with Osimhen so there was no doubt about his trajectory in the years to come.

      • Gbam @Footballfanatic this is why I love you so much you call a spade a spade. We will always be needing of your type to eradicate Corruption from our ball let us stand together. We will achieve our aim in Jesus Name. Bro you are sound!!

        • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

It’s crazy bro people think the criticisms are because people hate Rohr as a person. Can any Rohr supporter confidently say he has been perfect in this qualifiers and hasn’t made some weird decisions? Buy all people want to bring up is that Ohh he qualified us for tournaments with games to spare…. For Christ sake Amodu qualified us for the worldcup with a salary of 3.5 milliona naira back then if you. So if he can’t qualify us for a tournament then what is he here for? Don’t get me wrong NFF are major criminals to and are culpable in alot of the disorganization going on.

    • Kudos to Emmanuel Amunike for discovering of the likes of Chukwueze, Osimhen and others. Accolades should go to Amunike not Rohr

  • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

Rohr???? Amunike discovered him and Osimhen

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

Amunike discovered them for the senior senior national team(SE)?????

    • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

You are dumb as a rock the 1993 u17 squad the Kanu came from was discovered by Bonfere [or Westerhof???

  • TALK UR OWN 2 years ago

GERNOT ROHR WAS BENCHING HIM IN THE BEGINNING OF AFCON 2019, CLAIMING THAT HE IS INEXPERIENCE PLAYER.

    • Presh 2 years ago

He has to wait for his time, and his time now has come. You lots should let Rohr be.

      • Chinenye 2 years ago

And he’s still benching him after “his time has come” stop supporting mediocrity

  • I DEY SHAME 2 years ago

MY BROTHER, TALK UR OWN, I TIRED FOR GERNOT ROHR.
NO WONDER THAT IS WHY HE WAS BENCHING EJUKE FOR MOSES SIMON, IGNORING DESSERS FOR OLD CARGO IGHALO.
***TELL ME WHAT EXPERIENCE DOES AMOKACHI, OLISEH, AMUNEKE HAS BEFORE THEY SHINE IN U.S’94 WORLD CUP.

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

And that is the truth…So if Dem ask you now dessers get Afcon experience pass ighalo? Likewise ejuke to Moses?

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

@presh. Tell them joor… Their Ronaldo and Messi were once benched in their careers. They waited for their time. Now here they are

  • ROHR OUT ROHR OUT ROHR OUT!!!!!! MY FELLOW FORUMMATES ROHR OUT.. The players who should have played a key role are never utilised rohr prefers average over quality rohr is average. ROHR OUT!!! Enough said. Bassey is being praised by Giovanni van Bronckhost on the exceptional talent Rohr chooses a bench warmer in Cyprus over Bassey ROHR OUT ROHR OUT HE IS NOT DOING HIS WORK.

    • Dr Banks 2 years ago

THE QUESTION IS………..DOES HE GET BENCHED FOR BALOGUN IN RANGERS?

The young lad only starts a game in Rangers when Barisic is not available for Left back or when Balogun or Goldson is not available in the central defence. So what is your point?

Balogun cannot be benched for him in SE when he is always picked ahead of Bassey in Rangers

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

@Footballfanatic My question is who scouted or discover them for the super eagles?? Rohr or amunike?? This is where our argument is based. You see your vulgar choice of words does not bother me cos I have known u to be a dick head. It is only literate football minds like us can tell you that the word discover in football is broad. It comes in stages and level as a player grows. But since you want me to narrow it to your level of reasoning and said I should check up in the dictionary if I don’t know the meaning. Now listen the person that can be said to have even discovered accounding chukwueze according to your myopic mind is not even your amunike. The name is VICTOR APUGO for a local academy(Diamond football academy 2012) before using his connect to link him up with Amunike and the rest follows. But I know you are Rohr’s enemy and you don’t want to give him the due credit he deserves thats why you there shouting Amunike.. LMAO!!!!!

    • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

See how you contradict yourself Rohr discovered him lmaoo but now it is Apugo. Who took him to the world stage is the question as most u17 players go through the ranks and sometimes make it up to the senior national team. You for talk sey na Rohr also discovered Osimhen after benching him all through the 2019 Afcon. I said it that you are biased bro all cuz you want to garner support for Rohr.

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

@chinenye allow the coach to do his job…His time might have come but what about experience? Is he more experience than Ahmed Musa or ighalo??? The squad is blessed with talents so it’s difficult

    • MOKEY POST WHAT IS THIS EXPERIENCE YOU KEEP GNASHING ABOUT IF MUSA IS SO EXPERIENCE WHY IS HE PERFORMING SO POORLY IN CLUB FOOTBALL FOR OVER 4years NOW!!!. YES MUSA IS EXPERIENCED< EXPERIENCED IN WARMING THE BENCH WHAT GOOD IS EXPERIENCE IF YOU HAVEN"T RACKED UP ANY IN 4 YEARS ON THE CONTRARY OUR REAL PLAYERS ARE GAINING MORE EXPERIENCE BY THE MINUTE SO COME END OF DECEMBER EMMA DENNIS FOR EXPAMLE WILL HAVE X10 of WHAT MUSA HAS ACQUIRED IN 4 YEARS. YOU REALLY DON"T UNDERSTAND FOOTBALL DO YOU?. WE DON"T NEED MUSA EXPERIENCE FOR GODS SAKE HIS PLACE IN THE TEAM IS POLITICALYOU DIM WIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Musa and ighalo have played their best football for club and country. Its time for the younger generations to take over.

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

Yes na..I said Mr Rohr helped discovered him for the super eagles you said no. Implying that we should go with the real dictionary meaning of discover and judge by it. Then I said if we are to go by that then is not even Amunike. It’s VICTOR APUGO. But however I still maintain that the basis of our argument is on the super eagles not under 17.

    • I don’t like contributing to most discussions on this forum . What’s experience when you don’t know your job very well? Mr Man, years is only but numbers. Get someone who worked in the rig 20 years to come deliver some services in modern rigs , Omo,it will be a disaster, thats because experience is not only associated to years but what you can offer .

Ighalo and Musa surely have come a long way with the SE, but right now , ” them dey play rubbish ….” .

Experience , experience na wa ooo! ,if Musa and Ejuke or Chuboy should go for trial at any top club , who do you think will likely get the nod for a possible engagement? Answer that yourself

      • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

Thank you for this comment. Nigerians are ass kisses and come with this stupid excuse of past experience. Looking at European and South American teams you can see that they’re teams are built around youth and reason for this is that they are building teams that will serve them for a long time and not some fire brigade approach like Nigeria always claiming Musa and Ighalo bring experience…. Musa and Ighalo have paid their dues and need to to just go out respectfully just like Mikel did but till they mess up and get threats to their lives that is when they will realize it’s time to quit. If the former gaffers of the national team kept screaming experience do you think Ighalo and Musa would have had a chance in their early careers??? Musa has not play a full 45 mins of his team’s last 5 matches…. Always plays bits while the other one is in some backwater Saudi league when we have Dennis, Awoniyi, and Sodiq….. Yes I rate the Segunda way higher than the Saudi league. If e sure for Ighalo why didn’t he stay in Europe. He knows it’s time to get that retirement money. Dude could barely run. Even Iheanacho is like Nepa cuz he is on and off and I see why Rodgers never backed on him fully.

  • MONKEY POST again do you know the dynamics??.. Did Cameroon have players that they could call upon besides Roger Milla. Moreover What type of Player was Miller in his playing days compared with Musa???… Musa has played 2 world cups for Nigeria and only recorded 2 good games Argentina 2014 and Iceland 2018 what else did he achieve in the other games?. Monkey Post I bet If Cameroon had Players better than Miller at the time he may not have gone to the World Cup. we are talking about levels here. Musa’s experience even if we didn’t have as good players as we do still counts for Nothing Musa does not have BIG GAME EXPERIENCE ANY LONGER. THE last big game he played was in 2014 Argentina in Brazil world cup other than that what experience does he bring’ let us talk of experience Alex Iwobi playing Europa League final – thats experience. Victor Osimhen Napoli v Juventus that’s experience. Samuel Chukwueze – Semi final Europa League that’s experience and winning player of the semi’s – I could go on and On Mikel Playing in Champions League Final or semi’s 2012 that is experience. MUSA has SHISHSI MY bro don’t let Buhari and co fool you. Musa’s so called experience which is nothing coupled with his inactive club form for over 3 years will bring us nothing but blood pressure if we pin our hopes on him. also Musa is a bad example for Young ballers. What will they think to themselves? “Oh boy as long as we are good with the hierarchy in NFF even if we no dey perform for club our place in SE is a sure case” SHAMBOLIC Nation we live in. I mentioned this 2 months ago that come World Cup Nigeria will unravel. here we go. Kudos to you and your kind @MONKEY POST you will only have yourself to blame and your fellow Rohr lovers!

    • @MONKEY POST Does Musa still poses the same flash in the pan pace he did in 2018 World Cup against Iceland defenders that played in Poor leagues in Europe. and why could he not Replicate that same performance against Argentina a few days later if he was so good. Consistency is also a gauge of a players ability to last the duration of a tournament at a high level. now my next question to you @MONKEY BRAIN is MUSA a consistent player????

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

If una like make una eat me…I no send… Afcon experience is what we need now than all this club playing time football u guys are talking about. Na Afcon we dey go play then eventually world cup. No be Villarreal vs sevila or sparcta Moscow vs csa moskow. Has it not occur to you that sometimes and even most times you can’t approach country football with club experience. And there are some players that are masters in country’s football. And how there you guys disrespect our 2019 Afcon highest goal scorer….All am saying is give Rohr some accolades as I can mention more than ten names of players who played with Samuel chukwueze in under 17 even better than him but didn’t make it to the super eagles today
