Collins Predicts Tough 2022 World Cup Qualifiers  For Super Eagles 

Paderborn left-back Jamilu Collins says the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers will not be easy for the Super Eagles but his optimistic.

The Eagles drawn in Group C, will commence qualification for next year’s World Cup with a home clash against Liberia at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Lagos on Friday.

Aside the Lone Star of Liberia, the Eagles will also face Cape Verde and Central Africa Republic.

Both Cape Verde and Central Africa Republic played a 1-1 draw in their Group C opener on Wednesday in Cameroon.

And looking ahead to the matchday one fixture, Collins said on Brila FM:”We are excited. We know the Liberians are strong contenders but we will be prepared for them and we will try our best to play to the instructions of the coach and play as a team.

“This qualifiers is going to be a really tough one, it’s not going to be easy. But we will do our best and try to make our people proud and to see that they give us the maximum support that we need and we will make them proud.”
