Falconets head coach Chris Danjuma is confident his side will put up a better showing against Germany in their second group game at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The West Africans will take on the Germans at the the Estadio El Techo, Bogota on Wednesday night.
“The team performed well [in the first match against Korea Republic], but I know we’re going to perform much, much better than this,” he told FIFA.com.

This will be the fifth meeting between Nigeria and Germany at this level.
The Falconets are yet to record a win against the former champions.
The Germans defeated Nigeria in the final in 2010 and 2014.

well its good to motivate and massage the ego of the girls but facing Germany is a mountainous task and it will only take a miracle and extra tenacity to pull-up a surprise. Go girls…….Nigerians are solidly behind you
I hope this our coaching crew would have gotten enough tournament sense not to deploy all his tactics on Germany seeing that they have 3points already, it would have been wise to be conservative in their approach knowing that other coaches are watching.
