Copa del Rey: Cacereno Can Shock Real Madrid –Garci

Cacereno winger Garci says he’s optimistic the team can upset Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey.

Garci, full name Miguel Garcia, came through the youth system at Real Madrid and played for Castilla in 2015.

The 25 year-old told Okdiario: “The truth is that the other day everything came out in the match against Girona. We ran like real animals and the icing on the cake was that the next day we had Real Madrid.

“It was what we lacked and the truth is that we greeted it with great enthusiasm and with great joy of being able to enjoy games like Madrid, which are not played in our lives.

“Of course (we can win), otherwise we would not even show up. Having played a couple of qualifying rounds against top-notch rivals and when you face each other you see that things happen, that the team does it well.

“In the end they are soccer players just like us and anything can happen in a game. So we are going to face the game as positive as possible knowing who you are playing against, with that respect that you have to have, but from there we are going to go for everything and in a game anything can happen.
