Flying Eagles midfielder Daniel Daga has signed a new long-term contract with Danish club Molde, Completesports.com reports.
The new deal will keep the highly-rated youngster at the club until the summer of 2031.
Daga Comments On New Contract
Daga, who has continued to make steady progress since linking up with Molde, was delighted to commit his future to the club.
The 19-year-old expressed his excitement after putting pen to paper on the contract extension at the Aker Stadion.

“First of all, I thank God. I am very happy to have signed a new contract. I feel incredibly comfortable in Molde, and the club has a big place in my heart. We have a fantastic group of players and an exciting future ahead of us. I am proud to continue the journey and fight for this jersey, ” Daga told the club’s official website.
” There are a lot of exciting things happening in Molde that I want to be a part of. At the same time, I feel that this is the right place for me to continue my development. I would like to thank the club, the support staff and the supporters. Now I am looking forward to the continuation.”
Molde Chief Excited To Tie Down Nigerian
Sports director Ole Jakob Strandhagen is pleased that Daga has chosen to extend his contract with the club.
“Daniel is a young and ambitious player with qualities that already make him important to us. At the same time, we believe that he has great potential for further development. He is willing to learn, works very purposefully every day and has a strong desire to improve,” Strandhagen declared.
“We have great faith in Daniel’s further development, and the club will provide good conditions for him to continue to take new steps. The fact that we have now entered into a long-term agreement shows that both Daniel and the club have faith in the sporting collaboration and the way forward. We are very happy about that.”
Daga joined Molde in 2025, and has so far registered five goals, and one assist in 22 appearances across all competitions for the club.
