This Dennis of a guy is an exceptional player and he is very fast. Congratulations to Watford. Well deserved

    • Dennis deserves to be in the Super Eagles period. Coach Rohr goofed by not inviting him of recent. Why would Nigeria be wasting such a powerful attacking talent who seems much sharper and potent than Ahmed Musa and Moses Simon in attack? This is ridiculous and shocking!

  • Dennis is a very attacking player who has pace and he is very direct…..Rhor would have managed him and unleashed him on opponents…….I can’t imagine that a player of this quality has just less than 30 minutes of international football with Nigeria……I was just amazed today at Dennis qualities today.

  • And yet Rohr keeps ignoring him and calling back aged Ighalo with heavy experience…

  • Footballfanatic 2 years ago

Na God go punish anyone that thinks Dennis doesn’t deserve an invite to the national team. This man took the British defence to school but some want to justify Musa’s inclusion at the expense of this precocious talent…… Those justifying Musa’s inclusion are actually the saboteurs of our national team.

Taiwo Awoniyi… Bang!…Bang!!…Bang!!! More bad news for Coach Rohr… his fraud and bribe taking to callup specific players whether inferior to others who never get invited is coming to the fore more and more…

Taiwo Awoniyi struck again in the 8th minute for Union Berlin against Hertha Berlin… I am currently watching the game and he is doing as usual his business very coolly.

Rohr never knew the sort of players that are real Nigeria Fans delight, it is just God saving us all from the hands of that crooked French-German.

Denis has always been a deserving player to be in the super eagles much more than than Simon “forceful dribbles” moses but Rohr will Neve do the needful but kept on playing conservative football with these array of stars…

Awoniyi is presently showing it to the whole world why he deserves super eagles jersey better than Odion “sluggish” Jude ighalo!

I hope and pray that Rohr eventually leaves the super eagles this time for a Better and attacking oriented coach.

Guys! Abeg make I ask una questions: if we super eagles fans don’t enjoy our super eagles with the Avalanche of stars we have these days when then are we going to watch the national team matches without fear naa???

    • JimmyBall 2 years ago

@Abdul Handsy… you were part of those in the clique of @Dr.Drey who used to always chorus here on this forum… the all too popular phrase… “who him go come bench for our line up”?… every and anytime someone mentions good players here like Awoniyi, Dennis, Olayinka and Olanrewaju.

Even when Amuneke suggested Junior Ajayi of Al-Ahly when he was consistency for over five years doing well as a starter for the best team on the continent and I supported Amuneke’s call… the likes of @Dr.Drey who shame has mysteriously ran out of this forum picked a fight with me and tried to cast aspersions on my person… football should never always be viewed from the lens and level of those playing only in Europe… teams like TP Mazembe, Al-Ahly, Zamalek, Orlando Pirates and Raja Casablanca contribute quality players to National teams of their countries… just in Nigeria, if he is not playing in Europe then automatically he isnt good enough… that is a myopic and informed position! Julius Aghahowa, John Utaka, Emmanuel Amuneke and Garba Lawal were made in Africa leagues…

Even Rashidi Yekini played for Asec.

No! No!! No!!! I only used to liked and supported Drey whenever he argues with conspicuous fact and figure but I had always said that Rohr could do better with his invitation of players to the super eagles as well as his uninspiring nature of conservative football…

Even in his last invitation, I questioned why he could invite odion “sluggish” ighalo ahead of Awoniyi, I also questioned him for inviting shehu abdullahi ahead of Tyrone Ebuehi…. I had always questioned Rohr’s abnormal manner of glorifying mediocrity over merritocracy with his invitation of players to the super eagles…

I had always shown my displeasure countless times for inviting and not capping potential Nigeria eligible players in Calvin Bassey and Cyriel kolawole Dessers for us…pls sir, get your fact right…peace to your family my brother from another mother..

The two outcasts have vindicated themselves while the super human Ighalo did not impress…

    • Chinenye 2 years ago

Ighalo does not need to impress again, his time has simply pass that all. The enemies of super eagles are the ones supporting the inclusion of their tribal players(Ighalo( and favourite individual players(Musa)

  • Dennis Bonaventure deserves to be playing for the Suoer Eagles. He is a very skillful and attack minded striker and winger who scores frequently and gives good assists. . He is currently by far more deadly and potent that Ahmed Miss and Moses Simon on current form and it is surprising and shocking that he has constantly been overlooked by Coach Rohr and his technical team. Please however takes over as the new coach of the Super Eagles should extend an invitation to him as his combination in attack with Osimhen would potentially be devastating to opposing defences at the World Cup playoffs and AFCON. Awoniyi and Cyriel Dessers should also be given a look in to increase Nigeria’s attacking threat .

loooool, when we were saying it they called us names, who will they replace. Abeg let the continue to enjoy there day, rohr has nothing else to offer this team but headache

    • My grudge was even how this Rohr bring in guys , play them for just 10 minutes to the end of the match and discard them, we have had enough of rubbish, let him go, the same invincible Algeria Rohr turned to our nightmare was taught football lesson at home by Burkina Fasso who nearly denied them of the play off. Oga leave us for good we no do again o,don’t waste this generation of talents cos of your ineptitude o.we dey warn you now before fans go show you and your employers shege o

    Hahaha real talk man!

  • Dennis Bonaventure to common knowledge plays in the elitist league, EPL, arguably the most competitive league in world football and he has produced some eye-catching performances in the current campaign that have not gone unnoticed to football observers yet as a federation we do not consider such brilliant moments good enough to get him a look in under Genot Rohr. This is not only pathetic but also confirms the deep seated odious symptom of moral rot in the football system, where merit is routinely scarified.

Dennis Bonaventure, by stretch of imagination, is not one of the most exciting stars of the EPL given his limited appearances and considering Watford’s football history, yet his attacking football exploits vis-a-vis goal scoring abilities with his goal assists put him head and shoulder above many of our wingers at the moment. He does seem Dennis Bonaventure is here in the EPL to recreate the goal scoring qualities which made him a toast of football fans during his stints at FC Brugge in Belgium.

He’s got an amazing dribbling skills and a quick feet which make him a delight to watch; aerially, he’s shown supreme confidence with couple of headed goals.
In many ways, the enterprising winger’s style bears many resemblance with the former SE forward, Chinedu Obasi, who combines exciting wing play with striking role.

One only hopes he keep the moment going by pushing harder.

This Nigeria team is getting nowhere, this team is so overrated. The French colonised African teams are better because of the recruitment of the french people. Players who are are born in the French colonised country get top 5 european club experience, France being #5. And from then on they move upwards. These players are starting games regularly too and few are from relegated teams. Shoot, even players born in France chose to play back home because they know they can win. Like the Senegalese, Algerian and Moroccan team. The super eagles are full of relegated players. Some players don’t even play regularly or have top flight experience.

Players of countries colonised by England most likely have to start in lower tier in the english league, because english league promote thaeir own, use their academy and its tough to get in.  If not that they have to start playing outside the top 5 league. Jamilu Collins? That dude been on that relegated paderborn 07 forever, obviously he is a bad defender and not making an impact. I don’t know what type of recruiting the super eagles got, stay trash.

Denis is playing regularly, he scores and he assists in the number one league in the eufa rankings. He had two assists and one goal when watford beat everton. He was even productive in the last couple of champions league games. With no top flight experience this team cant even get far, people here need to be more realistic. Obviously Rohr and or other staff members have favorites on who to pick, especially tribal related, its plain and obvious looking at the lineup. The #1 populated African country cant get right, happy with mediocrity, bunch of scammers.

The Regressive knows themselves now. That is why they have gone on long vacation or suicide mission. All the fake Drs and mediocres names posing here should show their face. Shame no dey catch thief after 3days them no resurface again with new anthem. Make thunder fire haters a country blessed with talented wingers will be using Collins and Simon for wing play, no wonder Orji Kalu says he will do a better job. Pinnick upto you or your head will follow…. Going going going Rohr!!!

  • We should just thank God that coach career is not like that of the players where you have to wait for another team to buy them or they run out there contract, because no team go collect this coach from us oooo, so rigid and predictable .

  • Felix 2 years ago

Lets start a “Rohr must go” campaign.

  • When we talk we get hailed with insults there is no reason why Nigeria should LABOUR to Victories against minnows with the plethora of talents we have. I mean this coach flogs a dead horse with Musa, Moses Simon and onuachu international break in international break out. I mean if you have the right competition good results will follow I mean he went to Cape Verde and tasted our Number 45 Wingers the best 1234 did not feature much. Chukwueze, Dennis Lookman and Ejuke then tell me why do we deserve to go anywhere when corruption is forms the foundation of this team. Even the Gods of these players will have their say. Rohr has a hidden agenda cause I can not for the life of me see why Musa and Moses Simon deserve a place in SE over Emma Dennis.

Where are the NFF officials coming here and spewing rubbish now that they have almost destroyed our team they are quite bastard enemies of progress thunder go fire all of them so call Dr of doom

  • We almost lost our World Cup place because 8f a crooked Coach. Look only God saved us and now he is revealing it all like I always day I am always vindicated hate me when I talk. But love me later. They will only thank us later.

That Cape Verde game needed Awoniyi on for Osimhen in that change and Dennis on for Simon or Dennis starting and for sure we would have been singing a different tune today
