Former Monaco man Nabil Dirar says he would be open to a move back to the club in the summer window. The Moroccan international joined Les Rouges et Blancs in 2012, spending five seasons with the team in which they won both Ligue 2 in 2013 and Ligue 1 in 2017. Transferred to Fenerbahçe for 3.5 million euros in 2017, he played in the Monaco jersey from 2011 to 2017.

A move to Turkey with Fenerbahce occurred after that latter success but he has been in and out of the side in Istanbul, making 17 appearances this season. With a year left on his contract, Dirar is still to confirm whether he will seek an extension.
To add further intrigue, when interviewed in France, the 33-year-old made no secret of his interest in a potential return to the Stade Louis II. “I knew Ligue 2 when I came to Monaco, then I knew Ligue 1 and I was a champion, I knew where everything there was,” he told RMC Sport. “I spent some unforgettable moments there so why not a return? There is a way.”
