Greek Super League club Aris FC have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru from Sky Bet Championship side Watford, reports Completesports.com.
The 27-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Thessaloniki-based club after ending his six-year spell with the Hornets.
Dele-Bashiru spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Turkish Super Lig outfit Gençlerbirliği, where he impressed with a string of consistent displays, making 30 appearances in all competitions.
Dele-Bashiru Keen To Make Impact In Greece
The former Flying Eagles midfielder is eager to make a strong impact at his new club.
“ARIS is a new challenge in my career and I am excited to now belong to this club,” Dele-Bashiru told the club’s official website.
“I have learned a lot about ARIS. I know Benjamin (ed. Garret), who plays here, and I have talked to him enough to get information about my new team.

From Manchester City To Watford
A product of Manchester City’s renowned academy, the midfielder made his senior debut for the Premier League champions in an EFL Cup tie in 2017 before joining Watford in the summer of 2019.
During his time at Vicarage Road, Dele-Bashiru made 81 appearances across all competitions, scoring eight goals, and providing four assists.
On the international stage, Dele-Bashiru represented England at U-16 level before switching allegiance to Nigeria.
He featured for the Flying Eagles at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland, scoring once during the tournament, and establishing himself as one of the team’s standout performers.
