Nigerian midfielder Anthony Dennis has completed a move to United Arab Emirates, UAE ,club Al Jazira from Turkish outfit Göztepe.
Al Jazira confirmed the signing of the 22-year-old in a statement on their official X account.
“The wait is over! Officially: Al Jazira Club completes the signing of the young midfielder Anthony Dennis and registers him as a resident player,” the club stated.
Dennis joined Göztepe from HB Academy in Abuja in January 2023 and initially featured for the Turkish club’s U-19 side before earning promotion to the senior team.

The midfielder made his professional debut for Göztepe in a 1-1 TFF First League draw against Çorum on January 27, 2024.
He subsequently established himself as a member of the first team and played a key role in the club’s promotion to the Turkish Süper Lig for the 2024/25 season.
Dennis was rewarded for his impressive performances with a contract extension in May 2024, which tied him to Göztepe until 2027.
The former Super Eagles invitee went on to register five goals and two assists in 83 appearances across all competitions for Göz Göz.
Dennis will now begin a new chapter in his career with Al Jazira as he looks to establish himself in the UAE Pro League.
