Former Golden Eaglets winger, Olakunle Olusegun has signed a new two-year contract with Russian outfit, FC Krasnodar.
Olusegun will now remain with the Bulls until 2028
The versatile winger’s previous deal was due to expire in the summer of 2026.

The 21-year-old signed a four-year contract with Krasnodar after his arrival from Bulgarian side, Botev Plodiv on a permanent transfer in 2022.
The pacy winger has scored nine goals and provided eight assists in 62 appearances appearances for the club.
He was part of the Golden Eaglets side that represented Nigeria at the 2019 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
The player was also part of the team that took part at the World Cup in Brazil later that year.

This Olakunle Olasegun is badly needed in the Super Eagles. He is far better than Samuel Chukwueze.

This is a wrong move. Historically, Nigerian players don’t do well in Russia and Ukrainian league. Moreover, the few that does well cannot replicate the performance when they moved to bigger league
