Flying Eagles striker Kparobo Arierhi has joined Norwegian club Sogndal on loan until the end of the season.
Arierhi linked up with Sogndal from Norwegian giants Lillestrøm.
The youngster is delighted to have been given the opportunity to represent the club.
” I feel like this will be a good place for me. After looking around here, Sogndal seems to be a good place to develop, play and thrive,” Arierhi told the club’s official website.
” People are very nice here. This is going to be very good.”
Håvard Flo, who oversees player logistics at Sogndal, has high expectations for the striker.
“Kparobo is a young and exciting player. He is a fast back-up striker and will complement the others we have in the squad. Now we are looking forward to starting the autumn season together,” Flo stated.
After selling both Oliver Hintsa (Dinamo București) and Sebastian Pedersen (Orlando Pirates) in the current transfer window, Flo is satisfied with having strengthened the team’s attack.
” After the sale, the need arose to bring in a replacement who can add speed and a different type of skills than what we have before. We are very grateful that we were able to come to this solution with Lillestrøm, as the interest in Arierhi was great,” added Flo.
Arierhi spent last season on loan with Mjøndalen, where he scored four goals.
The 19-year-old arrived Lillestrøm from Nigeria’s Beyond Limits Academy in 2024. He has scored twice in 11 appearances for the club.
