Done Deal: Simy Nwankwo Joins Parma On Loan

Nigeria forward Simy Nwankwo has linked up with Serie B outfit Parma on a six-month loan deal with an option to buy, reports Completesports.com.

Nwankwo joined the Crusaders from Serie A club Salernitana.

“Parma Calcio 1913 are delighted to announce that Simeon Tochukwu “Simy” Nwankwo has joined the Club on loan from US Salernitana with an option to buy,”reads a statement on the club’s official website.

The 29-year-old moved to Salernitana at the beginning of the current campaign, but scored just one goal in 19 league appearances for the Garnets.

Parma are languishing in the bottom half of the Serie B table and the addition of the experienced striker could help them salvage the season.

This guy is lazy. He is never up for a better challenge always shuttling btw relegation teams or Serie B…I guess a paycheck is more crucial so I can’t fault him.
