Done Deal: Stade Reims Sign Nigerian Youngster On Four-Year Contract

Hafiz Umar Ibrahim has joined Ligue 1 club Stade Reims on a permanent transfer, Completesports.com reports.

Ibrahim linked up with the Red and Whites from local academy Ojodu City Football Club.

The powerful striker put pen to paper on a four-year contract.

The 18-year-old had trials at Chelsea early this year but was not offered a contract by the Blues.

A number of European clubs were interested in his services but he opted for Reims.

The youngster will train with the club’s B team from where he is expected to graduate to the main team.
