Swedish club IFK Göteborg have completed the signing of Nigerian youngster Ifeoluwa Olowoporoku from Tripple 44 Football Academy, Completesports.com reports.
Olowoporoku penned a three-year contract with the 18-time Allsvenskan champions.
IFK Göteborg football director Jesper Jansson expressed delight with the midfielder’s arrival at the club.
“A young and developable player who we see being able to compete in the A-team in the long term. Jansson told the club’s official website.

“We see this signing in the longer term and not as a player who will make an impact already this year. It is a young and developable player that we, along with our coaches and other tools, will work a lot with,” said Jesper Jansson, football director.
The club’s scouting manager, David Vukovic, is confident Olowoporoku will continue his development in Sweden.
”He is a small but very intense central midfielder who can play both higher up and further down the midfield. We have seen him up close in the field and got to know him in our environment, where we have seen both his strengths and what he needs to develop,” Vukvoic said.
” We work both long-term and short-term in our squad planning to balance the results here and now, while we want to create space for that type of player as well as players from our own academy.”
