Don’t Impose Assistants On Finidi — Udeze Warns NFF

Ifeanyi Udeze has warned the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) not to impose assistants on Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George.

Finidi is reportedly not willing to work with his former Super Eagles teammates Emmanuel Amuneke and Daniel Amokachi, who are favoured for the assistant coach position.

Amuneke and Amokachi also applied for the head coach position.

There are reports that the former winger is already shopping for a foreign assistant.

Udeze posited that any move to impose an assistant on the new gaffer will be counter productive.

“I don’t want to see an ex-player who will come and give Finidi problems,” Udeze a member of Super Eagles squad to the 2002 FIFA World Cup in South Korea and Japan told Brila FM.

“The NFF must not give him assistants who will try to take the job from him.

“He should instead be given a free hand to bring his assistants.”

Even now that 70% of eagles players are bench warmers and 10% are on injury list .
From brendford to real sociedad to ac Milan to Leicester to Bayern LEVERKUSEN to Atlanta to Southampton to north forest.
Is it nante Porto or lorient or poak
    Abi omonioa.
Is this a good or bad sign
Well I remember Algeria coach wen he came to play wcup qualifier in Lagos den .. he said y shud he boarder about the Nigerian eagles are dey not all sitting on the bench in their clubs .
After the game he was dumbfounded.
With the present eagles the south Africa coach wil soon start talking.
I remember one south Africa coach comment on eagles. ” Eagles can be consistently inconsistent and inconsistent consistent in their game ..

    Elijah Adebayo ad Dominic Solanke.
2 premier league strikers I had hoped we would try in the last international friendly window.
With our attack that is only strong on paper, we need to dey take corner eye look this guys. Together with Orban. They all need to be considered, and the best out of them should be selected for our world cup campaign.

    • @pompei you are right. But most coaches Nigeria have employed don’t allow for good competition among the players. I am only praying Finidi will invite at Elijah Adebayo (who has decided to play for Nigeria) to compliment the effort of Victor. As for Solanke, he is undecided, looking forward to being called by Southgate for England Euro 2024 Nation Cup. I’m keeping my fingers crossed looking forward to the players Finidi will call to play South Africa. This will be beginning of my accessment of the tenure of Coach Finidi

All we are saying….give us Yobo….!

Yobo was so good in the eyes of some people he was once touted good enough to qualify us for, and lead us to, Qatar 2022 World Cup….LMAOooo.

Seriosuly, how on earth did we get here…?!

Took 2 months to find a coach… only to settle for a greenhorn, and now taking weeks to find assistants. And we want to qualify for the next world cup….LMAOOO

Ogbeni must you open your parrot mouth. You just a two face moron. Narcissist of the highest order. Go to Benin republic and be assisting your clueless PE teacher and leave the local coaches alone and even the national team. Let your PE teacher go to the world cup now with games to spare. Some that can’t muster a win in almost 7 games in charge.
