Dortmund Keeping Tabs On Wolves Starlet

Borussia Dortmund are lining up a swoop on England once again, with Wolves starlet Chem Campbell said to be the target. Dortmund have already had great success when bringing Jadon Sancho over from Manchester City back in 2017 and sense another opportunity with Campbell.

Campbell is just 16, and is already very highly-rated by Wolves, who had him training with the first-team this summer.

He has also been impressing in the under-18 set up this season. So much so he has made the step up to the under-23s and if he carries on the way he is going, then a call up to the first-team ranks will not be too far away.

Wolves are clearly desperate to keep hold of the youngster but are unable to tie him down to a professional deal until he turns 17 in December, and that could leave the door ajar for Dortmund to swoop in and bring him to Germany.

Reports are rife that Dortmund are keeping a very close eye on the player and have sent scouts to watch him in action this season.

The reports back to Lucien Favre have been favourable and moves could be made to snap him up before Wolves tie him down to a professional deal.

The central midfielder has an eye for goal, scoring two in five appearances for the under-18s, before playing one game for the under-23s in the Premier League 2 against Brighton.

A number of youngsters have impressed since making the move to Germany and the Wales youth international could also be tempted if BVB make a move.
