Drogba To Run As Ivorian Football Federation President

Former Ivory Coast captain Didier Drogba is reportedly considering challenging Augustin Sidy Diallo as president of the Ivorian Football Federation (IFF).

As reported by L’Equipe, the former Elephants captain will decide imminently since the election is scheduled for November.

The 41-year-old has recently joined the Confederation of African Football (Caf) as an advisor to president Ahmad Ahmad.

Drogba is also a member of the executive committee of Ivorian outfit Williamsville Athletic Club.

Drogba played 105 times for the West African nation and scored 65 goals spanning a 12-year international career.

The Elephants, under Ibrahim Kamara, were involved in the just-concluded Africa Cup of Nations, where they exited in the quarter-finals after a defeat by Algeria.

Every other African Country have been improving each year while Nigeria sitting in one spot every year and keeping deceiving innocent Nigerians that we are still the giant of Africa.

In Nigeria, I don’t think such a m I happened. All we are seeing is former politicians.

The Country is not settling but NFF are planning to host Women World Cup.
That tells that they don’t care for us. NFF President, his vice Mr. Seyi and Diko should be in prison by now but we are a Country where by we see corruption as is not a new thing.

Only in Nigeria you see people bn attacks if you are telling the truth.

Like president Buhari like president Amaju. Many Nigerians have been killed in the Country and abroad while our president didn’t call police to get the killers arrested for example, Boko haram and co. Why Sowore that have been trying his best to take Nigeria back?

Samething applies to Mr. Amaju. He pretends like he is doing us a favour but enriching his pocket.

I am calling on you, ARA NKITA, AY, DOE, AND SO ON.I deeply sorry if I did call your name. Shall we continue way?

I have no time to break this down. I should have explained better. God bless Nigeria!!!

  • Is he schooled? Running for a football Federation President calls for fast thinking, eloquency and love of the people. See George Weah is having problems with the president office.

    • @DjCh

Sorry to disagree with you, but none of the skills you mentioned can be learned through formal education. I suppose the minimum educational level desired for any political office is a high school certificate. But who knows? He may prefer to swear an affidavit that he obtained his certificate, citing termites as having eaten up the original certificate. Who says other African countries are not learning fast from Nigeria?

  • Nice one. Well deserved.
