British champion Daniel Dubois has added the Commonwealth heavyweight title to his collection after beating Ebenezer Tetteh. The 22-year-old’s victory, which was completed in the first round at the Royal Albert Hall, takes his professional record to 13-0.

Dubois put his Ghanaian opponent, who did boast a 19-0 record ahead of the bout, on the canvas twice before the referee stepped in to call the fight on Friday. It’s a 12th knockout win in 13 trips to the ring for Dubois and he is certainly living up to the hype as the brightest young British prospect on the scene.
Dubois said: “I think with every fight I am improving. I did what I had to do, I worked the jab and everything I worked on in training I put into practice. “I am relaxed in the ring and the more relaxed you are, the more power you can generate as a fighter.”
