Bournemouth Duo Fit For Magpies

Bournemouth Duo Fit For Magpies

Both Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson will be fit to face Newcastle on Saturday, Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has confirmed.

Wilson returned to action last week in the win over Huddersfield and hasn’t shown any ill effects from that game so he will take his place in the starting line up for Bournemouth against the Magpies, as will Fraser, who missed training earlier in the week with a knock but has recovered. “Callum came through the Huddersfield game well.

He played the full match and didn’t look tired or fatigued at all,” Howe said. “He’s sharp and in good form, so we were delighted to see him in the England squad. “Ryan took a fair few hits during the Huddersfield game.

He missed the early part of training but he should be okay for this weekend.” Meanwhile Adam Smith is ruled out and that should allow Nathaniel Clyne a way back into the starting XI.

Long-term injury victims Lewis Cook and Simon Francis will not play for Bournemouth again this season after rupturing their anterior cruciate ligaments.
