Burnley technical director Mike Rigg says Clarets boss Sean Dyche is probably the best manager he has worked with in his career. Rigg has only been at the club since November but in that time he has been impressed with how Dyche goes about things at Turf Moor.

He has a vast amount of experience elsewhere though working with both the FA of Wales and England, along with roles at a host of top-flight clubs, including Manchester City. Out of all those it is Dyche who has impressed him the most, and he told the Burnley Express: “I have been doing this 32 years. I have been fortunate enough to do this at a number of clubs.
“Sean is probably the best manager I have ever worked for and with. 100 per cent. “He knows what he wants and what he likes. He is in a pressure environment but he is really clear, he has a really clear vision, a really clear philosophy. “He is a great communicator and the environment which we works in makes it really conducive.”
