Nigerian Chan team got walloped this evening by a ruthless Togolese side by 4 goals to 1.
A shocking result didn’t see that coming!

Shameful. Disgrace to our home based. I think this is where Manu Garba will function better. He should be given this job permanently as he is good with home based players.

“THE NIGERIAN NATIONAL TEAM IS OPEN TO INVITATION FOR ALL NIGERIAN FOOTBALLERS IRRESPECTIVE OF WHERE THEY PLAY THEIR FOOTBALL”

Irrespective of where they play doesn’t include the NPFL. News alert: CHAN EAGLES JUST GOT WALLOPED BY TOGO 4:1.

Again, irrespective of where they play doesn’t include our local league.

The same local league players lost 4:1 in the finals of the last CHAN. So FIFA ranking will definitely drop. Chaiiiii.

    • Greenturf, it is perplexing.

Maybe CAF should change the CHAN rules to include local players playing in their domestic leagues or other leagues in Africa.

Then the shame of our shambolic local league will not be exposed for all…

Rightly @deo,our local boys have let us down losing to lowly Togo shamefully.
Hope CAF can make changes which would include players plying their trade within the continent, the likes of Junior Ajayi would have a chance to prove his mettle.

  • Small time, some people here including our Local coaches and former footballers will want them on super Eagles.

The team that placed 2nd the last time, how may were good enough to attract quality suitors from even the African continent…? Orji Kalu signed for a relegation haunted team in Algeria, Stanley Okoro signed for one unknown team in Zambia…..Zambia of all places, Gabriel Okechukwu also signed for some unknown team in Libya or so. Who else…???

If they are not good enough to attract the likes of Raja, Esperance, Wydad, Js Kabiyle, TP Mazembe…..you think the SE has time to waste on them…?
