ECL: Chukwueze In Action As Villarreal Pip Austria Wien

Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze was in action as Villarreal defeated Austria Wien 1-0 in Thursday’s Europa Conference League.

The Nigerian who was making his fourth appearance in the competition, was a delight to watch.

The only goal of the game was scored by Nicolas Jackson in the 87th minute to earn the visitor a precious three points.

Chukwueze was substituted in the 67th minute for Pino after a decent game.

The victory mean Villarreal remain top of the table on 12 points from 4 matches while Austria Wien sit bottom on one points.

  • I think it is easier for a man to0 fall pregnant than for Chukwueze to get on a consistent scoring run. This is one boy who does not have an ounce of trust in his ability if he had a mentality like vinicius Jr he would be flying high by now. Nigerian players i dont kno why they have stage frieght on big games.

Brotherman Ugo, don’t mind those haters. Chukwueze Wazza Dazzling Dazzer will soon put all of them to shame. All the coaches who played Chukwueze know his quality. We are not ignorant of their jingoistic tendencies.
Heaven bless Chukwueze and all deserving Super Eagles players.

    • Much impressed by this article.

Bukayo Saka, Vini Jr, Jandon Sancho…… wither thou Samu, son of chukwueze….???

I pray this kid doesnt also become yet another victim of over-hype by sycophants who call themselves fans.

Oga Drey a beg rest. Chukwueze is far better than Bukayo Saka, Jaden Sancho and Phil Foden put together. Stop hugging mediocrity.

If he is better than them, why hasn’t he been snapped up by a bigger club…..Go and check the stats of the players you mentioned……Chukwueze hasn’t even played a full 90 minutes in like 2-3 months lol. The fact is that most Nigerian players don’t push their limits, once they start making money they fall back and do no personal training to improve themselves.

Listen to me Brodaman Football Fanatic, Chukwueze is saving up his best performance for the biggest stage. His productivity might have dipped but this is temporary. Next season, Manchester City, Liverpool and Real Madrid will be queuing to sign him up.
We should never desert our players in their time of need. Chukwueze just needs a bit of support now. Never doubt the ability of Chukwueze Wazza Dazzling Dazzer.
Heaven bless Chukwueze and all deserving Super Eagles players.

Yes the talent is there but compared to their European and South American counterparts, these players don’t push themselves……if he is saving his best football at 23 when will he unleash it when he is a sub specialist….Even Osimhen will be 24 soon and by the next worl cup will be 28. Missing this WC will really take 4 years from this young team. Most of our players will be 28 and 30 by the next WC. Man this is painful.

Which is why Salisu Yusuf must qualify for 2024 football Olympics. Chukwueze Wazzer Dazzling Dazzer, Victor Va Va Voom Osihmen and Alexander the Great Iwobi will be the overage players that will deliver gold medal for Nigeria. Nothing is stopping us from winning the next Olympic football games with the calibre of young players we have. They are far better than their African counterparts.

Watched this Gabriel Jesus personal training and wondered if our African players especially Nigeria players do same at all. It’s one thing to have the talent which my wazza dazzler Chuzzy n many others have but it’s another thing to work that talent out to its maximum. https://youtu.be/LhnS77Y1HJg

The guy dey take rabona control ball….woooooow.
He puts in so much training time, in addition to the regular club training. Stability, cardio, strength, ball work, stamina, the whole shabang.
He’s obviously quite talented. But even if you don’t have natural talent, if you work as hard as this, success go come ooo. This applies to any human endeavor, not just football.

“But even if you don’t have natural talent, if you work as hard as this, success go come ooo. This applies to any human endeavor, not just football”…… I will take that to the bank any day, all times. Thanks brodaman.
