Chidera Ejuke was an unused substitute as Sevilla boosted their fight against relegation by beating Las Palmas 1-0 in Tuesday’s La Liga encounter.
Ejuke has made 24 appearances in the Spanish topflight, scoring two goals.
The last time Sevilla won a game was March 9, which was a 1-0 win away to Real Sociedad.
They went into the game with Las Palmas winless in seven consecutive fixtures, recording five defeats and two draws.

But all that came to an end thanks to Alvaro Pascual’s 52nd minute goal.
The win took Sevilla up to 14th place on 41 points, seven points clear of the relegation zone in the league table.
Meanwhile, Ejuke’s Nigerian teammate Akor Adams is still out with a thigh injury.
