Ejuke: It’s A Dream Come True To Finally Make Super Eagles Debut

CSKA Moscow winger Chidera Ejuke is delighted to make his debut appearance for Nigeria, reports Completesports.com.

Ejuke replaced Samuel Chukwueze in the 77th minute of Nigeria’s 1-1 friendly draw against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Tuesday.

The former Heerenveen put up a fine performance in the game and earned plaudits from head coach Gernot Rohr.

“It is a dream come true because it is something I have been hoping for and praying for to happen,” Ejuke told oma sports.

“To be honest, I’m not gonna lie, it almost like perfect timing for me. For it to happen this time, I’m really excited and I give thanks to God and everyone who has been supporting this journey.

“For me, I can play in any role in the attack but normally, I like to play as a left-winger which is like my favourite.”

You are indeed a good winger cos of what I saw. We hope to see more of you in the nearest future my Broda. Continue to keep naija flag flying in Russia too. Cheers!!!

  • forget this boy is good. I will be the first to say those that were clamouring for him prior to the game exluding myself because I wasn’t. but now I see what you guys were saying he is a special talent a bit raw still but can definitely be polished with a lot more high level football. He will definitely be in a big club soon if CSKA Moskow gives him the right exposure by qualifying to UEFA Champions league soon.

  • You need more time on the field and with the team to show what you can do and also understand how the team plays so your input can be optimized. I suggest benching chukwueze and moving Kalu to the right so you can do your thing on the left. I want to see more of those your accurate curling shots you make when you cut in from the left. We need that in the Super eagles. Kalu can concentrate on crossing balls into the box for the strikers to score. He did that so well when he was at gent (begium), dont know why we cant use him that way in the Super Eagles.

When you perform well your monthly ranking will justifies it same thing happened whenever you decided to be complacent and perform poorly..

FIFA should quickly approve the nationality switch of uduokhai, Ehizibue, Lookman, Ejaria and Torunarigha(although I am not really sure if Jordan has filed for a switch..) so that we can clearly separate the grains from the chaff in the super eagles.

Though I wasn’t surprised that u got only 8 mins of playing time ,knowing fully well d type of coach that we have,a good coach would have started u to really make a good assessment in a match situation but we a coach that doesn’t believe in attacking football,he loves defenders that’s why Moses Simon is his best player because of his defensive abilities,I would advise him to play Simon as RB if he must play every game,Rohr has been wasting our friendly matches playing the old guys all the time, what it means is that during match situations and things are going bad,he will not have d confidence to field these guys ,thereby killing the confidence of these players which might affect their performance.the-same thing he did to Victor Osimhen in d nations cup when he kept on saying that Osimhen was not ready,a player that at d time one of d highest goal scorers in d league ,who doesn’t know osimehn’s quality ?only d coach at d time

    Lesson learnt..

    1. GR has done his best and we have seen its best (ANC bronze, WC appearances) and does not have the wherewithal to win againoppositions. itions.
    2. If nff is expecting ANC Gold and WC finalist from GR, i advise they should start looking elsewhere or get more capable hands to assist him.
    3. GR can cover his technical deficiencies by inviting the right set of players and selecting the same for matches.
    4. GR needs to stop recycling underperforming players. Players are as good as their last match.
    5. Okoye and Akpo are the new real deals.
    6. Balo is the real commando. He is deserving of SE leadership.
    7. Ndidi should be on standby to be the team captain .

  • I think Ejuke has the flair, speed, and dribbling skills needed to be a great winger. He should work to stay fit and improve. Big European teams will come for him in the future.

  • African Naymar up u,i saw how u parked about 6 Tunisia’s with out any wahala stay focused and humble,
