Emirates Airline/Completesports.com Football Challenge: Winners Smile Home With Prizes

Winners in the Emirates Airline /Completesports.com Football challenge sponsored by the renowned world’s largest flyer, Emirates Airline, were rewarded with their branded jerseys on Wednesday.

The presentation ceremony took place at Complete Communication Limited’s offices in Okota, Lagos.

Emirates Airlines Regional manager West Africa, Mr. Afzal Parambil was present for the presentation along with Mrs Aderonke Adebule, Executive Director JSP Communications.

The GMD Complete Communications Limited (CCL) Alhaji Mumini Alao; COO, Mrs Lydia Oyekanmi and Mr Solomon Ojeagbase, manager Online Division were among the company’s staff at the presentation.

Emirates Airline, a sponsor of some prominent football clubs, including Real Madrid, AC Milan and S.L Benfica, challenged the Complete Sports’ readers/followers on their knowledge of football and Emirates Airline with online quiz in recent weeks.

The three lucky winners; Oyekunle Kayode, Tunmishe Bello and Ayobami Okanlawon were all present to pick their choice branded club jerseys.

Kayode went home with Portuguese side, Benfica jersey; Bello was a recipient of Italian giants AC Milan jersey, while Okanlawon took home current European champions, Real Madrid jersey.

Afzal Parambil, Emirates Airline Regional manager West Africa, expressed his satisfaction with the fans participation in the competition and hopes to make it bigger next time.

“At Emirates Airline, we all know our reputation as best in the business and we are glad to partner with Complete Sports on this competition to reward football fans across Nigeria,” Afzal stated.

“We recognise the fact that Nigerians are passionate about football. They love their national teams and their various European clubs. We are glad to make them happy by offering them these jerseys of three different clubs.

“We hope to continue with this trend and make it bigger subsequently. The response from the fans have been encouraging and it is something worth improving upon.”

One of the winners, Kayode who was elated to be among the three lucky winners thanked Emirates Airline and Complete Sports for the kind gesture.

“To win an original branded jersey of Benfica is a big thing. To say I’m delighted is an understatement. This was a tough competition because I know other readers and fans participated in it and to be among the three lucky winners is amazing to me, I must say,” he said.

“I want to say a big thank you to the sponsors for this opportunity. I hope to be lucky in the next edition too.”

Bello also corroborated Kayode’s view on the competition.

“I’m happy to win an AC Milan jersey. It’s a memory that will live with me for a long time,” he stated.
