Sometimes moving to the premier league can kill a players career.. Balogun had offers in Germany but went for the galore of the epl, we know the outcome

I had no choice but to kill a cow today to celebrate Balogun’s bench appearance. Balogun on B&H bench? Once in a blue moon sumfin. Who knows when we are going to see him on the bench again? Balogun, this January should not pass you by. Make a move! Why should your career come to a finish at B&H? A defender who held his own against Messi at the world cup, who has been one of our best center backs in the past 2 years, is considered not good enough at B&H. Obviously, they are either crazy, stupid or just plain biased. Balogun should not hang around to wait for them to come to their senses. He should move on!

    Very well said @ Pompeii…

    • In the EPL, it seems you only have a real chance to play regularly if there’s no English player in your position that your English coach thinks has a potential and wants to groom for the 3Lions. Kelechi is another example (although he too is not helping matters). Musa too rarely had a playing opportunity at Leicester until he moved and saved his career. I wonder if Lampard would still be playing Tammy and Tomori if they had turned down England. Aina is now a regular after choosing Nigeria and moving to Italy. EPL coaches (especially English coaches) look face before they play you. It’s like a secret code/rule the English FA gave them.

Thanks Glory. It pains me so much that such a talented defender is wasting away like this. Leon should do himself (and his fans) a favor and move away from that club.
