This is the thing about Pep Guardiola coached teams. If they are better than you, they will keep coming for your jugular, for 90 mins. Pep teams don’t score and defend. They put their foot on the gas, until you are completely obliterated. This match could have ended with Man City scoring as much as 15 goals, if not for some misses and some great saves by Ben Foster. THEY JUST KEPT ON COMING AT WATFORD. NO RESPITE. This is he biggest thing we are missing in the current SE squad. We score a goal, and relax. This cost us an almost certain win against Ukraine. A game that could have ended with us blowing Ukraine out of sight ended 2-2 because of a tepid second half display. Rohr needs to borrow a leaf from Pep in this regard. If we can score 10 goals in a match, let’s go ahead! This nonsense of relaxing after scoring will get us nowhere.
