Commenting on the move, the 2018 World Cup star expressed his delight with the transfer.

“Hi everyone my name is Peter Etebo Oghenekaro. I’m happy to be here with Watford and I hope that the season will be great for us. Thank you so much,” he said in a short video published on the Watford’s verified Twitter handle.

Etebo also posted on this personal Instagram page: “Looking forward to the next season joining Watford FC, it will be a new challenge and I am ready to move forward with the team.”

Etebo is now teammates with William Troost-Ekong, Isaac Success, Tom Dele-Bashiru and Emmanuel Dennis.

    Good move.

  • Etebo brings in energy into the midfield and he can also be useful in front of goal….He has gathered alot of experience in the leagues he has featured in that will help Watford….More SE players are still going to move to the EPL before the transfer window closes…Mark my words….It’s a silently orchestrated move by Rhor to influence his players to move to top5 leagues at least majority of them….Pinnick just let the cat out of the bag in his usual poolish loud mouthed manner…. Even the fringe SE players won’t be left out because they have been informed that moving to a top 5 league can move you up the pecking order in the team.

When is Sadiq, Simy and Onuachu moving out of their club? Too much speculation and media hype from Nigerian media but yet, no strong bid tabled for any of the three.

Yes, I’m really expecting the 3 to move. It is the next thing in their careers after top performance last season. Their clubs should also make it easier by keeping the price tags reasonable.

This obsession with top 5 league… being in a top 5 league does not make any player superhuman beyond their innate abilities… a top league can expose you properly and toughen you… that’s a given, but a player must be ready to do his own separate skill enhancement as well as technique perfection with extra trainings for himself to really have any edge different from just any other average player… when people like Messi, Mbappe and Neymar tell you what they do personally away from cameras to enhance their overall body of game… You will be in awe! Let’s hope all our players making moves to top leagues are able to hold their own down and compete with fervor! One love…
