Euro 2020: Sterling’s Goal Earns England Victory Over Croatia

Raheem Sterling proved doubters wrong with a superb performance in England’s 1-0 victory over Croatia at Wembley in Euro 2020 on Sunday.

The Man City star netted the only goal of the game in the 57th minute thanks to a brilliant assist by Kalvin Phillips.

Sterling tucked home shortly before the hour, just when it looked like the game was getting away from England in all-too-familiar fashion.

The Three Lions now move onto a big game against Scotland on 18 June after a perfect start.

This is a team that hasn’t won a pot of clay since 1966 looking very ordinary here. They defeated Croatia but will struggle against Italy, France and Belgium. Kerewa Kerewa Kerewa…. I and I never rates England. On a good day the Super Eagles will beat them black and blue. Lolzzzz…….

Your vibes suggest you”re troubled, England is going to disappoint again. Calm down they win, they lose,it’s football. Only one team wins out of the lots.

  • England could not string passes together for about 30 minutes before the end of the match. If it was Nigeria, rohr would have been on fire. Even crotia did not play as if they wanted to equalizer.

Well said Brodaman. Croatia has declined. England will suffer against a more technical side like Germany. They play Kerewa Kerewa Kerewa type of football that is anywhere belly face. That is why they haven’t won a cup of garri since 1966. Lolzzzz……
