Euro Roundup: Ndidi, Iheanacho Struggle In Leicester’s Loss To Bournemouth;  Awaziem  Stars For Leganes

Super Eagles duo, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho were in action as Leicester City suffered another setback in their bid to secure a top-four place following a 4-1 defeat to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, reports Completesports.com.

Ndidi, who was cautioned in the 64th minute, played the entire duration of the game.

The 23-year-old has scored twice in 29 league appearances for the Foxes this season.

Iheanacho started the game and was replaced at half time by Ryan Bennett.

The forward has featured in 18 league appearances for the Foxes and scored five goals.

Dominic Solanke netted a brace for the Cherries with Junior Stanilas and Johnny Evans (own goal) scoring the other goals.

Jamie Vardy scored the visitors only goal of the game.

In the Spanish LaLiga, Chidozie Awaziem played a key role in Leganes’ 1-0 home win against Valencia.

Ruben Perez scored the decisive goal for the hosts in the 18th minute.

Awaziem, who received a yellow card in stoppage time has featured in 26 Leagus games for the Cucumber Growers.

In Italy, William Troost-Ekong was in action as Udinese fell to a 3-1 home defeat to Sampdoria.

The 26-year-old, who was in action for 90 minutes in the game has made 26 league appearances for the club.

    The commentator said “Do not adjust your TV sets. Solanke has scored twice”. A huge relief for a player who had not scored a single goal all season. CSN Mungo Park talent scouts will soon start saying they discovered Solanke and recommending him for the SE 🙂 🙂 🙂
