Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) will be aiming to secure their first points on the road this season when they travel to face Ikorodu City on week 10 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) on Sunday, completesports.com reports.
The Oluyole Warriors had gone five games without a win before returning to winning ways in style in their last outing. They overcame Ranchers Bees 3-1 at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan to end their poor run and climb out of the relegation zone.
Despite that home victory, their away form remains a major concern. 3SC have lost all four of their away fixtures so far this season, scoring just three times while conceding 10 on the road.
They now face a daunting trip to the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos where Ikorodu City have turned into a fortress this season, winning three and drawing one of their four home games.

Head-to-head also favours the hosts. Ikorodu City are unbeaten in the last four meetings between the two sides, winning twice in Lagos and drawing twice in Ibadan.
For 3SC, Sunday’s clash is about building momentum. The 3-1 win over Ranchers Bees has restored confidence, and the technical crew is now demanding the same fighting spirit away from home.
A first away point — or even a win — in Lagos would confirm that the five-game winless run is truly behind them and kick-start their season.
