Katsina United head coach Mohammed Azeez Audu has issued a stern tactical challenge to his squad, urging his players to sharpen their ball utilization and overall game management ahead of their upcoming high-stakes clash against Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The tactical directive comes on the back of a stellar outing for Katsina United last weekend, where they put up a dominant display to defeat Enyimba 4-2 in a thrilling encounter.

Despite the statement victory against the Peoples’ Elephant, Audu is keen to stamp out any complacency as preparations ramp up for Sunday’s fixture.
Speaking to his squad during training on Tuesday, the manager stressed the absolute importance of seamless transitions and collective responsibility in both phases of play.
“If you lose the ball, you have to defend well. If you are with the ball, you have to attack well,” Audu stated.

“Don’t have energy in just one direction of play.”
With a demanding league schedule ahead, Audu will be looking for his side to maintain their scoring momentum while tightening their defensive structure to secure another vital three points against Kano Pillars.
