Bendel Insurance head coach Jolomi Ali believes his side were unlucky to suffer a 1-0 defeat to Nasarawa United in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday Two encounter.
The Benin Arsenals were beaten by the hosts at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday, with Sam Pam’s 55th-minute strike proving decisive.
Despite creating several scoring opportunities, Insurance failed to find the back of the net, as their poor finishing ultimately cost them a positive result.

Ali Rues Away Defeat
“It’s really unlucky for us not to get something positive out of this ground, especially after many games here,” Ali said.
“We created a lot of chances, but couldn’t convert any of them.
“United are a good side, and today’s game was difficult for us, but that’s football. We hope to correct our errors and prepare well for our next game against Kun Khalifat at home.”
Kennedy Boboye’s side will host Kun Khalifat FC at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City this weekend.
