Enyimba forward Wonah William has pointed to missed goalscoring opportunities as the primary reason behind his side’s disappointing draw against Warri Wolves in Aba.
The People’s Elephant were held to a frustrating 0-0 stalemate by the Seasiders at the Enyimba International Stadium on Sunday. With the result, the nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions have managed only two wins from their opening nine matches of the season.

Reflecting on the match, William admitted that while the team performed well overall, their failure in the final third proved costly.
“We played very well, but we failed to convert our chances in the game,” William stated in a post-match interview.
Looking ahead, the forward vowed that the squad would address their shortcomings on the training ground as they prepare to face Nasarawa United away in Lafia.
