Plateau United star Gideon Monday has said he is very happy to have scored against his former club Shooting Stars of Ibadan.
Despite going behind halftime, Plateau United staged a remarkable comeback to seal a 3-1 win.
Monday, who spent two years at 3SC (2023 to 2025), netted the third goal on 87 minutes with a superb header from a cross to put Plateau United 3-1 up. It was Monday’s first goal this season for the Gbenga Ogunbote-led side.

Speaking after helping Plateau United secure the win against his former side, Monday said:”First of all I’m really happy for the victory and I’m happy to have scored my first goal for the team in the league.
“I feel very happy scoring against my former club Shooting Stars, when the ball came I knew I would meet the ball and I got the goal.”
