Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Plateau United have announced the passing of the wife of defender Paul Odeh.
The club disclosed this in a condolence message on its official X handle on Monday.
“The Management, Staff, Players and Supporters of Plateau United FC are deeply saddened by the passing of the beloved wife of our player, Paul Odeh, following a protracted illness.
“At this very difficult moment, we stand firmly with Paul and his family in their grief. We share in their pain and pray that God will grant them strength, comfort and the grace to go through this heartbreaking period.

“Paul, please know that you are not alone. The entire Plateau United family stands with you , surrounds you with love and keeps you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Odeh joined Plateau United from fellow NPFL club Enyimba in this summer transfer window.
