Europa: Arsenal Claim Comfortable First-Leg Away Win Vs Olympiacos As Spurs Beat Dinamo Zagreb

Martin Odegaard scored his first Arsenal goal as the Gunners claimed a 3-1 win at Olympiacos in the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie.

After bossing the early exchanges, Arsenal’s persistence paid off, as Odegaard gave them the lead in the 34th minute with a swerving strike from outside the box.

Olympiacos capitalised on an error by Dani Ceballos who lost possessiob in his own half to draw level on 58 minutes through Youssef El-Arabi.

With 11 minutes left in the game Gabriel Magalhaes restored Arsenal’s lead with a towering header across the keeper after a corner.

And in the 85th minute, Mohamed Elneny made it 3-1 after sending a curler past Olympiacos keeper.

In London, a brace from Harry Kane saw Tottenham Hotspur beat Dinamo Zagreb 2-0.

Kane broke the deadlock in the 25th minute before adding the second in the 70th minute.

And in other results Roma thrashed Shakhtar Donetsk 3-0 and Granada defeated Molde 2-0.
