Commenting on Balogun’s performance, SunSport wrote:”Nigerian took a sore tackle which got Ishak a booking. Made a key early interception, showed decent pace and looks the part as a no-nonsense defender. Booked for a tug on Skoras.”

And on Aribo:”kept possession and tried to make things happen.”

A 68th minute goal by Alfredo Morelos secured the win for Rangers which was their second in the group.

They are second on six points and are behind group leaders Benfica also on six points.

I been watch Balogun last night and the way e do my body eh, I no go fit explain. All I know be say the guy gud, wetin? He just dey defend like say him life depend on am. This guy don improved, no be small o, Kai! Na Brighton lose na. I know say Duffy and that other defender no be moimoi but them for find way accommodate Balogun that time.

Duff and the other guy not better than Balogun one bit. Just this England international stuff which means they must play if they are fit. Racism may also be a hidden factor. Meanwhile i pray and hope Ihenacho will have common sense and push for a transfer to another club too. So he will regular playing time and develop further before Rogers go finish him career. Age not on his side. See Rashford see Ihenacho both emerge at about same time but see whr Rashford has reach just because of regular playing time which helps a player’s confidence a lot

  • Looking forward to seeing both of you starting for the Super Eagles against sierra Leone. Your both part of my first eleven
