But manager Unai Emery will decide whether to include Laurent Koscielny and Granit Xhaka in the starting line-up.
Both are still recovering from foot and groin injuries respectively.
Iwobi who has featured eight times for Arsenal in the Europa League this season has scored once and recorded two assists.
At the Estadio de la Cerámica, talented Nigeria winger Samuel Chukwueze is expected to be in action when Villarreal take on Valencia in an all Spanish affair in the Europa League.
Chukwueze, 19, who has shone in the colours of the Yellow Submarines this season has scored one goal and recorded one assist in seven appearances in the Europa League for Javi Calleja’s men.
