Zurich were edged out 5-1 on aggregate having lost the first leg at home 2-1.
Odey started the game and was replaced by Lavdim Zumberi on the hour mark.
Kayode Olanrewaju featured for only 10 minutes in Shakhtar Donestk’s 4-1 defeat against German club, Eintracht Frankfurt at the Commerzbank-Arena.
Kayode came in for Viktor Kovalenko 10 minutes from time with Shakhtar bowing out 6-3 on aggregate.
Villareal secured their passage into the next round following a 2-1 aggregate win against Portugal ‘ s Sporting Lisbon after they were held to a 1-1 draw in the game.
Samuel Chukwueze was not listed for action in the encounter played at the
