Ride on boy!
Wow Ndidi is so important to a squad see how Leicester defence were in shambles because he was missing. Kelechi was also sorely missed for Leicester in attack. I hope Rohr took notes as to Ndidi’s importance to a squad the next time he decides to leave him out for so called experiment sake.
The less said about the Napoli game the better
What happened to Napoli tonight. I can understand Leicester losing because no ndidi and iheanacho but what happened to napoli to make them lose at home. I didn’t watch the match but I can see Osimhen didn’t stArt. Is the coach trying to say he is not placing priority on the Europa league and wants to concentrate on the scudetto hmm time will tell.
Anyway, congratulations to Osimhen for scoring another goal.
@Sports Fan, Napoli had a man sent off as early as the 29th minute, I feel this destabilised their game plan.
@Sportsfan Osimhen needed a rest as he’s Napoli’s most important player. You’re right that Scudetto is priority but Europa is also a major target. That’s why Spalletti had him on the bench to come to the rescue if needed. And Osimhen almost saved Napoli once again.
@Sportfan Yes that is what the coach is trying to say I am just happy Osimhen scored because i think that Goal sort of saved face for an otherwise lethargic performance it is sort of clear they were saving themselves for Fiorentina. The positive from that game from a Naija perspective is Victor Moses he was immense for Spartak Moscow
Thank you all for your responses but seriously can Napoli win anything this season when all their sights are focused on one striker (Osimhen). What happens if he needs a rest or goes for national duty or God forbid he gets injured. What will they do then?
Awoniyi too was on Target for Union Berlin in the Conference league against Macabi today. Osimhen has now got 7 goals so far, Onuachu 8 goals, Awoniyi with 5 makes him and Osimhen Nigeria’s top scorers in the top 5 leagues. It’s still early days in the season, but our boys are fired up to return the SuperEagles to the glory days.
The coach gotta take the fall for this. With Leicester city he played a strong lineup.
Now he underestimates Spartak Moscow and play mostly his bench. I don’t know if he is trying to focus on the serie a title, but there is nothing wrong with being competitive in both.
Osimhen scored in additional time which proves he is clutch when you need a goal. 7 goals in 5 games including 3 in the europa league. The coach used 5 substitutes, 2 at halftime. And got one player with a red. When a team gets a red card they are harder to beat.
