Everton are being linked with a move for Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario as boss Marco Silva looks to revamp his squad this summer. Silva is determined to try and break into the top six of the Premier League next season and is looking to clear the decks before bringing in as many as six new players.

Reports in Italy claim that Portugal international Mario could be one of them after Inter made the player available for just £15million as they look to make changes of their own. Mario did have a spell on loan with West Ham United during the 2018/19, where he provided two goals and one assist in 13 games before returning to the San Siro.
It has now been suggested a return to the Premier League with Everton could be on the cards this summer, although there is interest from elsewhere. Portuguese outfit Porto, along with French side Monaco, are said to be keeping an eye on his situation with the Nerazzurri.
