Samuel Chukwueze could become club teammate with Alex Iwobi as new Everton manager Rafa Benitez is reportedly keeping tabs on Villarreal winger.
Chukwueze, 22, played 40 games for Villarreal last term, scoring four times and providing eight assists.
He played a key role in Villarreal’s run to the final of last season’s Europa League but missed the clash with Manchester United (which the Spanish club won on penalties) after suffering a groin injury in the second leg semi-final victory over Arsenal.

This is not the first time Chukwueze has been linked with a Premier League move. Both Manchester United and Liverpool are said to be keen on the youngster.
Now according to The Athletic Everton have also thrown their hat into the ring. Either way, it seems the in-demand wide man is likely to depart Unai Emery’s set-up this summer.
However, clubs may have to fork out a hefty price as Chukwueze has a whopping £71million release clause in his contract which doesn’t expire until 2023.
La Razon, though, have mooted that Villarreal are unlikely to receive the full sum for the exciting winger.

Klopp has always been a keen admirer of chukwueze and I know he will be the first to pounce if chukwueze becomes available…..Klopp once made a January bid for chukwueze that was rejected by Villarreal….I hope chukwueze joins Liverpool because his football suits Liverpool kind of play under Klopp….Very brave and direct style of play with a very high press which will give chukwueze the liberty to do damage at will.
From viralliel to Everton ;demotion or promotion. For me I feel villareal is far bigger more ambiteous than Everton. So Chukweze should just focus on Villareal and improve his game till Barcelona or teams of that ilk come calling. Money shouldn’t be everything at this stage of his carreer

You beat me to that plus I wonder how some forumite see this as a positive move, Villarreal ahead of Everton anytime anyday Expecially with Benitez, chukz shd just stay with Villarreal for now or till a better club show interest.

Villarreal want too much money for his sale, he is a good player but they need to lower his transfer fee (I feel a similar situation is also keeping genk from releasing onuachu, their asking price is too high). There are clubs both in Spain and England that will jump at the chance to sign him but it has to be at the right price.
I think the success of Villarreal last season with winning the Europa cup has increased their expectations ahead of the new season. They will be playing in the champions league and they would want to strengthen their side. Therefore they would want to sell some of their players and purchase new ones. If chukwueze were to leave Villarreal I would suggest he goes to clubs like atlethico Madrid, borussia dortmund or Liverpool where his style of play can be used and appreciated.
