Everton Interested In Elijah Adebayo

Elijah Adebayo could end up staying in the Premier League with Everton keen to offer him an escape route from relegated Luton Town.

Adebayo is among the key stars tipped to leave Luton Town in the wake of their relegation from the Premier League.

The 26-year-old proved his class for the club registering 10 goals in 27 league appearances.

The Nigerian scored in Luton Town’s 1-1 draw against Everton this month.

Adebayo impressed against some of the Premier League top teams and could probably have scored more goals if not for his injury problem.

According to TEAMtalk, Everton manager Sean Dyche is a keen admirer of the big striker.

Dyche is determined to add more firepower to his side for next season and feels Adebayo’s attributes would make him a perfect foil in his team.

Well deserved. He has had a brilliant season. I think Everton is the right club for you to flourish. They will play to your strength.

Wished he was an attacking midfielder.
We are not short of talent in his position

  • Absolutely, Elijah could possibly have scored more goals but for injuries. 10 goals in 27appearances in a debut season in the EPL is not a bad return. And he’s also impressed against top EPL sides.

Given his work rate at little Luton side, he surely will be self motivated at a modest Everton with a lot of players of African descent like him.
